Douglas SBD Dauntless (2x)

At the start of the war, the Dauntless and Devastator were the US Navy's standard carrier-based dive and torpedo bombers, respectively. While the Devastator had too many weaknesses and was discarded after the Battle of Midway, the Dauntless excelled in sinking the four Japanese aircraft carriers in that decisive battle. The USAAF used the Dauntless under the designation A-24 Banshee.
