The Martin B-26 Marauder was a powerful medium bomber. The shoulder-wing aircraft had a high flying speed and was also used for low-level attacks. In April 1942 the B-26 was used in the Pacific for the first time. Later missions also took place over Europe. 5266 of these aircraft were manufactured.
