Okha (2x)

The rocket-powered Yokosuka MXY-7 Ohka (Cherry Blossom) was specifically designed for kamikaze attacks. The Okha was carried by Mitsubishi G4M Betty medium bombers close to the target and released there. First, the pilot approached the target while gliding and then ignited the rocket engines in the final phase. Since most of the parent aircraft were destroyed in the missions before releasing the Okha, the success of this weapon system was limited. A total of 852 Okhas were produced.
