The Yokosuka P1Y "Ginga"  was a twin-engine bomber used by the Imperial Japanese Navy during World War II. It was designed as a fast, long-range bomber and was also adapted for torpedo attacks and night fighting. Despite its strong performance, it suffered from technical issues and was difficult to maintain. The Allied reporting name for the aircraft was "Frances".
