Mitsubishi A6M5a Reisen / Zero (3x)

As the production of the Zero's successor was constantly delayed, the IJN sought to increase the combat value of their only carrier-based fighter through upgrades. The resulting A6M5 had a smaller wingspan, more powerful engine and improved weapons. But these were all minor improvements, leaving the A6M5 up against increasingly technically superior US aircraft.
