The Tupolev SB-2 was a twin-engine Soviet fast bomber developed in the 1930s. At the time of its introduction, it was considered one of the most advanced bombers in the world. The SB-2 saw action in the Spanish Civil War and World War II. Despite its early advantages, it became increasingly vulnerable to more modern fighter aircraft as the war progressed.
