Mitsubishi A7M2 Reppu / Sam

The Mitsubishi A7M Reppu was intended as the successor to the Zero. She was given the Allied codename "Sam". However, construction problems delayed the first flight until 1944. Despite its size, the aircraft had very good flight characteristics. Only 8 of these aircraft were produced.
