Mitsubishi J2M3 Raiden / Jack

In order to effectively combat the increasingly massive attacking US bombers, the IJN developed the Mitsubishi J2M3 Jack. This interceptors had good climb rates. However, many Japanese pilots complained about the lack of maneuverability. The Jack  with its four 20mm cannons, was a powerful weapons platform in the fight against the mighty B-29 bombers. However, only 476 of these fighters were produced.
