Fairey Fulmar Mk. I

The Fairey Fulmar was a British two-seat carrier-based fighter aircraft. It was distinguished by its long range and achieved numerous successes in the battles for Malta. In 1942, however, the weaknesses of the heavy fighter became apparent when it suffered heavy losses in the Japanese air raid on Ceylon against the agile Zero fighter planes.
